How I Used Feng Shui to Manifest Peace, Profit, and Purpose

I used to wake up dreading the day. My job paid the bills, but it drained my soul. I was constantly stressed, emotionally exhausted, and deep down, I knew I was not living in alignment with my purpose. I longed for something more—more peace, more joy, more freedom. But at the time, it felt like a distant dream.
That version of me would never have guessed that a houseplant—a money tree, to be exact—would become the catalyst for an entirely new chapter of my life. But that’s exactly what happened when I stumbled upon the ancient practice of Feng Shui.
At first, I was skeptical. Rearranging my furniture? Putting a crystal in a corner? How could that possibly change my life? But something inside me whispered, “What do you have to lose?” And so I began.
My First Step into Feng Shui
The first thing I did was decluttered by apartment, and bought a money tree.
I had read that placing a money tree in the “wealth corner” of your home (the far back left corner from the entrance, according to the Bagua map) could help attract abundance. It sounded a little woo-woo to me, but I figured, why not?
I took the process seriously. I didn’t just plop the plant down and hope for the best. I cleaned the area, decluttered it completely, and placed the money tree with intention. Every time I walked by it, I would touch the leaves silently affirming, “Abundance flows to me with ease.”
Two weeks later, I booked the biggest commercial of my acting career. I was over the moon!
It was a huge check—life-changing, really. That money allowed me to invest in my first studio, a dream I never thought would come to life so soon. From there, everything started to shift.
A Business Was Born
With my studio space secured, I felt like I had stepped into a completely different timeline. I no longer had to endure the draining 9-to-5. I was building something that lit me up inside. My new studio business took off quickly, and I kept incorporating Feng Shui principles along the way.
I focused on three main areas: Peace, Profit, and Purpose.
PEACE: Creating a Sanctuary for My Soul
One of the most noticeable benefits of Feng Shui was the peace I began to feel in my physical environment. I made it a point to:
- Keep my bedroom clutter-free and tech-free
- Use calming colors like lavender and sage
- Add elements like water features, salt lamps, and soft lighting
Suddenly, I could breathe again. My anxiety dropped. My sleep improved. And emotionally, I started feeling grounded in a way I hadn’t felt in years.
The Feng Shui Principle: The principle here is all about balancing the five elements—Wood, Fire, Earth, Metal, and Water. I added small water fountains to bring in flow, used earth tones to feel grounded, and brought in wood through plants and natural materials. These elements work together to soothe the nervous system and promote inner harmony.
When your home supports your nervous system, you show up differently in the world.
PROFIT: Calling in Abundance with Intention
I didn’t stop with the money tree. I applied Feng Shui to my entire business space:
- Placed my desk in the “command position”
- Kept my entryway bright and welcoming
- Added fresh flowers and a water fountain near the front door
I even made sure my branding colors matched my energetic intentions. Within a few months, clients were finding me easily, opportunities flowed in, and bookings were coming in with more ease than ever before.
The Feng Shui Principle: Prosperity and wealth are ruled by the back-left corner of your home or business space. Activating this area with symbols of abundance (like a money bowl, water fountain, or a healthy plant) helps stimulate energy flow. Also, the command position—where you can see the door without being directly in line with it—represents your ability to see and receive new opportunities.
Profit isn’t just about hustle. It’s also about energy. When your space is aligned, money has a way of finding its way to you.
PURPOSE: Finding Alignment Through Energy
Feng Shui helped me connect the dots between my outer space and my inner world. By intentionally designing my environment, I realized I was also redesigning my life.
I started journaling more. I lit candles with purpose. I meditated near my vision board. Everything became sacred.
The Feng Shui Principle: The center of the home is considered the “heart” in Feng Shui. This area impacts your overall well-being and clarity. I made sure to keep this space open, clutter-free, and filled with soft energy. I also honored the Fame & Reputation area (back middle of the home) by placing affirmations and personal wins there, reminding me to keep showing up as my highest self.
Feng Shui gave me permission to believe in possibility again.
It reminded me that we are co-creators with our environment, and that every shift—even something as small as moving a chair or clearing a drawer—has the power to ripple outward and transform your reality.
Final Thoughts: Your Space Reflects Your Story
You don’t have to overhaul your entire home overnight. Start small. Get curious. Clear out one drawer. Buy a plant. Open the windows.
But do it with intention. That’s where the magic lives.
Feng Shui helped me manifest peace in my mind, profit in my business, and a deeper sense of purpose than I ever thought possible. It helped me leave behind a life that drained me and step fully into the woman I was becoming.
And if it can work for me, it can work for you too.
Your environment is not just where you live—it’s a mirror of your energy. Make it beautiful. Make it sacred. Make it yours.
You don’t have to stay stuck.
You don’t have to do this alone.
Start with your space, and watch your whole life shift.
