Have you ever checked your bank account and thought, “Well, looks like it’s ramen noodles again tonight…And possibly all damn week”. We’ve all been there; including myself several years ago. When I first heard that shifting your mindset with positive affirmations can help you to attract wealth, I like Reallyyyy? But then I quickly realized this isn’t some fluffy fairytale—it’s the power of the Law of Attraction, and it’s been working for people for centuries. So, grab a cup of tea (or a fancy latte you’ll soon be able to afford in bulk), and let me give you the tea on how you can use positive affirmations to manifest money just like I did.

Why Positive Affirmations Work for Attracting Wealth

Before we jump into the how-to, let’s address the elephant in the room: Do affirmations really work? Yes, but here’s the catch; you have to use them the correct way.

Affirmations help rewire your brain by replacing negative beliefs about money with empowering thoughts. When you consistently repeat affirmations, you shift your subconscious programming, and suddenly, opportunities seem to appear where you never noticed them before.

Your mind is a magnet—what you focus on, you attract. It’s really that simple. So, if you keep telling yourself, “I’m always broke,” guess what? You’re going to stay broke. But if you start affirming, “Money flows to me easily and effortlessly,” your brain begins to seek out ways to make that statement a reality.

How to Use Positive Affirmations to Attract Wealth

Now that we’ve got the science (and a little magic) behind affirmations out of the way, let’s talk about how to use them effectively.

1. Choose the Right Affirmations

Not all affirmations are created equal. The best affirmations for wealth are positive, present-tense, and emotionally charged. Here are some examples:

  • “I am a magnet for financial abundance.”
  • “Money flows to me in expected and unexpected ways on a continuous basis.”
  • “I am worthy of wealth and success.”
  • “I attract prosperity with every thought I think.”
  • “I have an abundant mindset, and my bank account reflects that.”

Pro Tip: If an affirmation feels too out-of-reach (like saying “I am a millionaire” when you’re struggling to pay rent), start with something believable like: “I am attracting new financial opportunities every day.” You must believe it, or it won’t work.

My personal favorite is: “I am so happy and grateful now that money comes to me in increasing quantities through multiple sources on a continuous basis.” It’s a little long, but it touches all basis. I received this from one of my favorite spiritual teachers; the late Bob Proctor.

2. Say Them with Feeling (and a Dash of Drama)

You can either say them out loud, or silently to yourself. Repeating affirmations like a robot won’t cut it. You need to feel them. When saying your affirmations, use enthusiasm, excitement, and conviction—pretend you’re an actor landing the lead role in a money-making blockbuster. This is the secret sauce. You should feel tingling throughout your body if you’re doing it correctly. I would recommend saying them out loud, and silently to see which works best for you.

3. Make It a Daily Ritual

Consistency is key. And I don’t mean just every morning and night. I mean like 200 times a day! Seriously, if you want to change your life, you have to put in the work! I say my affirmations when I am sitting in traffic, when I am walking my dog, when I am working out, when I am cooking… you get the picture. You can:

  • Write them in a journal
  • Record them and listen throughout the day
  • Say them silently while brushing your teeth (multi-tasking magic!)
  • Replace the mindless social media scrolling with a 10 minute affirmation session.

By making affirmations part of your routine, they become second nature—and soon enough, your reality starts shifting.

4. Pair Affirmations with Inspired Action

Manifestation isn’t about sitting on the couch chanting “I am rich” while waiting for money to fall from the sky (though wouldn’t that be nice?). You must take aligned action to create wealth.

Here are some examples:

  • If you affirm “I attract new income streams,” start researching side hustles. Youtube has a ton of ideas to get your coins up. I started my blog after seeing several videos on there about blogging.
  • If you say “I am financially wise,” commit to learning about budgeting and investing. Again, Youtube is a good source for learning the basics about finances.
  • If you believe “I deserve wealth,” apply for that higher-paying job you’ve been eyeing. You have to step out on faith, and never let fear stop you!

Affirmations set the foundation, but it’s action that builds the empire.

5. Banish Negative Money Talk

You wouldn’t plant flowers and then pour poison on them, right? So, don’t affirm abundance while constantly saying things like:

  • “I can’t afford that.”
  • “Money is hard to make.”
  • “I’ll never be rich.”

Banish “Can’t” from your vocabulary. Instead, reframe your thoughts:

  • “I choose to spend wisely right now.”
  • “Money comes to me in expected and unexpected ways.”
  • “My financial situation is improving every day.”

Your words are powerful—use them to your advantage.
